This is a concept piece featuring characters from Heirs to the Throne, a Black Comedy Noir with Furry's, set in the fictional region of Kindling, a place run by Rich & Devious draconic families.

Concept painting featuring Devillo's parents, the super rich & super dickish Evangeline & Lucius Devianti. In designing the lineage of Devillo's bloodline I started to realise that my original character designs looked like totally different species, not close blood relations. Rather than have them just look like older/female versions of Devillo I wanted to try something a little different, so while there are certain genetic markers which either skip generations or are in multiple breeds of Dragon, in our universe the parents could easily have the same colour scales but their offspring could be entirely different due to the swiss-cheese genetics that the Dragons have gone through down the ages.

Also believe it or not Devillo is supposed to be if not the hero then the main character of this story, therefore we wanted his family to be even more devious & back stabbing than him. And they are that indeed. Oh yes, he could still learn a few things from his old man!
