You're friends know she's safe, she was teleported away at the last second..

You remember the horror of seeing such an act..

you remember the smile on the creatures maw as it revels in its actions...

you remember....... hatred..

You remember what this creature did to your people... your bloodline...

your friends... your home....

your new friends... your new home....

You remember the vow you took before fleeing your former home... to never let your anger go...

you remember what happened last time...

You look now at what your restraint has led to...

you resolve that this creature shall never see the light of day again..

You commend yourself to Celestia, that she may protect you and offer you guidence...

you feel the horror in your heart and mind fading...

you feel it being replaced by a potent, burning.... hatred..

You've had enough..

You cast your spell and let its effects take hold, letting it feed off your anger, rage, sheer potency of your hate..

yet, you hope that you don't have to do this...

You remember what happened last time...

but...

there's no other option... is there?"

So, after having this idea floating around in my head for a while, i thought I might as well get on and do something with it. XD

Here's the idea:

-Because Brontes technically isn't born in Equestria itself, his abilities are slightly different to Equestria's 'Normal' magic-users.

-As a hybrid, he shares the best of both species, I.e. As a unicorn he can use magic, as a Zebra he's more in touch with nature and more 'unorthadox' methods of getting things done.

-something he rarely touches upon, is his repression of his former life outside of Equestria (at least as i have it in this 'ere story i've got piled up with the rest), which sometimes comes up as small bursts of rage, though he's generally cool enough to move around it.

~ that said, refering to Twilights reaction to Pinkie Pies 'Pinkie Sense' ("Feeling Pinkie Keen") where she bursts into flames, it can be thought that, should a unicorn experience potent enough emotion such as rage, frustration, etc, they can 'transform' in said way, something like a pastiche of the SSJ forms in Dragonball Z. In this case, Brontes is just... well... losing it, about on that verge of turning into that 'transformed' pony.

I'll HAVE To write that up at some point... i can never think the whole thing through properly though.. so idk... :/
