And here we have another commission from AC for krankthecrux of their Crux character, Krank! ... I... I think you guys saw that coming, but, I mean, I'm just being thorough.

In doing this commission, I learned what a Crux is! I think I saw a few Crux characters at AC. Their designs are a lot crazier than anything I've ever drawn I feel, but I hope I did my first one well!

    I really love the painting look on this! The colors seem so natural and not just glaring at you! :D

    I know what you mean...when I went to FurCon for the first time (and this was long before I was on the internet more than e-mailing people), I didn't know what a lot of these unique species were. I talked with a guy in the Creator's Lounge and we swapped art and he asked me to draw his Crux for him...and I'm like what is that???? XD

      Ahhh, thank you! That was part of the goal. I'm not good at crazy, vibrant colors, but I know that seems to be what Crux characters like? So I had to try and do the best I could. I'm glad you approve!

      And yeah! I thought I would have caught on sooner. I was like, "Those crazy patterned characters are kind of cool!" I had noooo idea that was a thing in the fandom. Anthrocon is teaching me things even after it's done and past!

        Yeah...I think many Cruxes I've seen are bright red or vivid purple. The one I drew for someone was red with black and yellow markings. :) I really like their tails...the interesting crookedness of the Crux tail is really cool to try and draw! :D

        And you're most welcome! :) I'm just learning about them from having been on certain sites like Fur Affinity...like Sergals and Nevreans, too. They've got a huge backstory to them from the creator...but they're an open species, so anyone can create one. So I've seen a lot of them. And over on FA, though I didn't have a Nevrean character myself back then...any time I'd draw my Peacock wizard character, lots of Nevrean 'sona people would favorite the drawings of him. chuckle I kept wondering if it was a species, since they all had a kinda similar look to them...and sure enough, they were! :)
