Garuff is an old gnoll - older than most gnolls could ever hope to live. He's a masterful hunter and a talented woodsman. Sadly, however, he is also impotent. He became the laughing stock of his tribe because of his inability to sire children of his own.

He became so desperate that he resorted to buying slave children to raise as his own. Those children were a Human named JB Harbor; A halfling named Mara Jade and a dwarf named Bolvar. After buying them, his life took a turn for the exciting as he got wrapped up in conspiracies and dark dealings, remaining steadfast with the children he considered his own, resolutely protecting them from whatever he could while putting his life on the line in the process, even to the point where his age had started to turn him into more of a hindrance than a boon.

He's retired now, after venturing over more of Galorian than most gnolls even think exists, though he always worries about his kids, even though they're all adults who can take care of themselves by now.
