Luceralo

Deestracted

So I allowed my mind to wander last night, and made this! I have no idea what it is, but I love it ;v;

Basic info:

Height/lenght: 40-50cm [Feet to top of head] , 80-100cm [chest to tip of tail]

Weight: 35-30kg

Name: Combined of two italian words; Lucertola(Lizard) and Aqualo(shark)! But also refered to as Lucifer |D

Appearance: They have quite short legs, but these are powerful to make up for it. They're slow, but damn strong. They have no pawpads or claws of any kind, but spikes on their wrists. These are quite helpful when digging. Their heads are pretty much bone, with only a thing layer of skin covering it. No hair of any kind is present. The upper half of their body (Neck, back, front of legs, top of tail and such) is covered in hard scales, but their lower part (throat,belly, bottom of tail and so on) is just skin, quite thick at that, but not impossible to get through.

Social behavior: They live alone, with no need to socialize at all, as they have no need for a partner. They have no specific gender, or more like both. They reproduce without sexual organs of any kind. If that's not masturbation enough the I wouldn't know ehehee. Living underground, they rarely meet other creatures that pose a threat, so how thy react to others is unknown. When meeting others of their kind, they fight until one is either killed, or runs off. They stab into their enemies with their horns and spikes, slamming into them with the ones on their shoulders. Their tail also packs a lot of strength, and is often used as a weapon. A young individual will rarely fight an elder one.

They're born and live their entire life underground, only a few individuals migrating above ground. These rarely stand a chance, because of their blindness and lack of smell. They use their strong front legs to dig tunnels underground, using their tail to swipe away any dirt or stone that might be in their way. The horns on their face work as whiskers, helping them navigate in these dark paths, sending if another organism is close. It's also used to stab and crack hard minerals.

They're not very intelligent, however they do manage to collect rocks, bones and other things they may find, and tie them to their tails. This is a way to tell a Luceralo's age and experience, as the materials becomes tattered and increases in numbers as they age.

They absorb water through their skin, and eat ground-dwelling bugs and tiny creatures, as well as roots from plants and trees. THis is where they get most of their liquid from. Their tongue is large at the front, made to capture bugs with its a sticky surface, much like a chameleon.

I do customs, too. >u> OVER HERE
