most folks ive seen do lines anyway, then color over them

Use a hard round brush, your edges are still looking a little fuzzy.

Are they too soft? :O I kind of like giving everything an ambient dream-like feel so I wasn't sure if I should harden the edges more or leave them be.

In a full picture it might work, but right now it just makes me feel like I need my eye prescription checked.

Hmm I will have to keep this in mind and try out some work with backgrounds, thanks. :>

I agree about the fuzzy/blurryness. In some pieces it could work, but I think it makes focusing hard

Hmm I'll have to incorporate harder lines over the areas of focus, and sharpen the look a bit. Kinda like a photo.

If the effect you were going for was dreamy I think it suits. Maybe experiment with harder edges here and there on the piece, vs all over? Or do some test runs with a simple background, etc.

I really want to get into digital painting. I do really dig the look.

Ahh thanks! ; ^; I really don't know what I'm doing so any advice at all is helpful! I think I will try a little of everything, it doesn't hurt to try something out right? Don't want to miss out on anything.
