COGNIZANT DOSSIER: Dr. Bright (MidnightArr)

Darkwitt

Clinical Analysis: Chit Kennis. "Darkwitt"

Financial partnernship aside, Darkwitt is a reclusive, paranoid individual who believes himself a martyr to societal evolution. After a handful of conversations, I've observed he projects the signs of an Advocate (INFJ-A) personality on the meyer's briggs test. (though the efficacy of those tests are based on severely questionable data points). I've acquired his dossier from some old contacts. Initially, Mr. Kennis performed as an assassin for hire, only to drop off the grid and reassert himself as this 'Darkwitt' persona. One can only speculate why he decided to shift his employment from a murderer for hire to a handler, but CIA analysis has concluded based on speech patterns, fighting style, and strategic analysis that Darkwitt and Chit Kennis are one and the same. He attempts to project himself as all business but will enthusiastically debate philosophy if goaded into the opportunity.

Mr. Kennis' insistence in the importance of altruism and selfless contributions of evolving the status quo are in direct conflict with his idiom. He talks frequently of trying to help people become better versions of themselves, yet unrepentantly performs nearly every conceivable method of hypnosis and mind control to accomplish his goals.  His foot soldiers (See Dossier 37-B, the Breach Gang) lack any external indication of individuality and I speculate their identities are being suppressed, or have been supplanted artificially.

I surmise this 'Darkwitt' persona is either a performative identity, or a dissociative alter ego hoping to self distance from a trauma attached to his former employment. Since the shift in personalities, Darkwitt himself has not been credited for any fatalities. So either he is attempting to atone for previous behaviors, or he thinks he's 'Batman.'

Regardless. My relationship with Darkwitt is surface level at best, and entrepreneurial at worst. He has ample supplies and connections, and this Project Cognizant, while vague, allows a testing environment for me to attempt my theories on Zeitgeistalt, which required a minimum sample size of 600 individuals. Darkwitt is apparently offering participants in the thousands.

STRATEGIC RECCOMMENDATION FOR COMMUNICATION: Appeal to his ego he pretends to not have. Imply he's not like most people, and begrudgingly concede to his intelligence. Too much sweet talking and flattery will make him suspicious. Subtly imply he has better control over his emotions by artificially telegraphing emotional outbursts. Make him think he's getting under your skin. Act surprised when information he should not have access to is revealed, it convinces him he has the upper hand. Work with half truths and do not falsify any information around him. Either he will already know it's a lie, or will pick up any tells in regards to it.

He's a delusional self proclaimed supervillain parading as a member of some off brand illuminati, but he's useful. That's all that matters.

If I play my cards right, I'll have everything I need for Zeitgeistalt.

Each Mastermind has unique and varied skills they bring to the table. Kai Tyde might be the most charismatic, Rockjaw the most efficient, and Nymfi has the most potential.

But Dr. Cassandra Bright is the most dangerous.

Hanover warned Darkwitt not to engage with her. That what she was theorizing was something even the CIA deemed too risky to consider.

Brilliant, ruthless, and only interested in results, Cassandra's doing more than trying to outplay the Masterminds.

She plans to outplay Darkwitt.
