Hundreds of threads he manages by proxy. Hundreds of stories all across the world glanced by his eyes. like a puppeteer with too many strings on his marionette. If it weren't for the AI supporting and keeping track of all the threads he was producing, he would have been overwhelmed years ago. 

It's a wonder he's still going now. 

The Qualm gave him an assignment he was not prepared for.

"An aspect of society that seems to be growing increasingly stagnant is power usage. All districts are frozen in built in monopolies. I assume you will have a plan to amend this."

To be honest, he didn't.

As the Drone Pod X grows on a public district, another thread has been catching his attention with increasing focus. A new experiment he requested Rehme investigate. He submitted a query for its progress.  

Within moments, he had his answer. 

"Project Cognizant is in Beta, recommend production development start immediately."

He gave a sigh of relief. Good. He was getting tired of sitting and waiting.

Darkwitt cycled into a side tab of about four hundred dossiers, a short list of potentials with a gamut of skills deemed valuable. There were a few he had in mind for Cognizant.

He produced an additional thread, the hologram of a lion appeared.  

"Yes, Master?"

"I have a job for you. pack your bags."

"What's the job?"

"Recruitment."
