You know what else looks good? Those scales I put on her. They're small, giving her hide a mostly soft, smooth texture, but they're definately there~

...and for all this, I've spent the last week on this picture. It's been slow going, definitely - with a picture that's been so emblazoned in my mind, I needed it to be perfect. It didn't turn out that way, but it got pretty close. I'm happy with the result...mostly x3
