Now that Murana has been divorced from her Zootopia origins and is now firmly planted in the Legend of Ahya world and setting, I figured the original story I had written for her: In Darkness I Hide, is a bit outdated and not really canon or in line with any details from the LoA series. Granted, she is basically the same character with the same personality and traits, abilities and motivations to include being a vigilante, but pretty much everything else needed to change for her to become her own character.

To that end, if I were to write a stand-alone adventure (or two) with Taylor's mom, moonlighting as the vigilante Dark Flame Wolf in her heyday, it would need to be a completely different story with different villains and personal growth arc. I was drawn to an idea like this where she would learn to overcome her awkwardness at ballroom dancing, learn how to refine her skills so she doesn't trip over her own two feet so she can use this gala opportunity to make connections and infiltrate this highly elusive and secret organization known as: The Lion's Den. She's going deep undercover to break up a ring of murderers and sadists, killing every single person along the way as she tears them apart from the inside out. All the while, the police are staging their own investigation on this group and getting in Murana's way at executing vengeance. Will their worlds collide as they both meet in the middle to topple the Lion's Den and bring peace to the city? Maybe I can repurpose Ralph Grayz to be a character too! What do you all think?
