So here's the story behind this.

My art teach in high school was a fucking asshole. Told me cartooning was for children. Made us draw realism only. Realism ONLY.
So one of our projects was to draw a portrait of yourself. But we also had the option to generate a fake portrait using this weird program the school had for some reason that was specifically to make fake portraits. So since I hate my face I chose that option and designed some hippie looking person.
About half way through drawing this person, I decided FUCK THE MAN and drew the rest of them as a vegetable because I hate drawing realistic people SO MUCH.

My laziness and anger was interpreted as highly innovative and creative and my teacher sent my picture on an art tour. Not very prestigious but still something, I guess.
I'm always torn between laughing at the story behind it and being pissed that I was made to draw something so ridiculous and not my style.

It's funny what elitist art assholes will eat up.
