Before Kim came to Japan she was studying at university in Canberra, Australia, she was said to have gotten accepted at a relatively young age. There she studied to become a robotics scientist, though she found it more effective learning by books than attending classes, only going to those because her university friends were going to those.
Three of them especially were close to her, Jens Madsen, a human man who wish to move back to America afterward to work at one of the big companies to share his inventions for a better future, Carol Chillingham, a cat woman who wishes to develop AI for hospitals, and Cage Dobson, a doberman man who wants to bring the future of working vehicles.
These four whether they took their projects seriously or not showed themselves quite the experts at their crafts and managed to eventually get jobs after university.
