Gonna have a Scion campaign again with my friends sometime soon and I made three new characters for it.
I know, I said in my video how playing as more than one character in a tabletop RPG was a mistake, but it turns out there's gonna be three different scenarios where we play as a different character.
Not sure how well that will fly, but I'll know when I get to it.
In either case so do we have the first one of the three. In Scion so do you usually play as the children of the gods, but in 2e so are you able to play as certain mythical creatures like werewolves, satyrs, and kitsune among other things. And when it comes to kitsune characters so can you use the stats and skills to play as a tanuki (there's some differences between them like how a tanuki can freely change forms to anything).
His name is Jun Mård, a tanuki whos family is related to some of the tanuki that Russia imported for skinning on farms only to realize that they get their fine fur only in the wild, so they were let go and soon came to Finland and Sweden.
Jun spends his days working different small jobs like a street cleaner or a tourist guide while in human disguise. His tanuki nature still strikes as he loves to pull pranks on people, especially at people who litters or generally being jerks.
One day he got visited by Ama no Uzume, the Amatsukami of Dawn and Good Fortune who tasks him to perform as many good deeds as possible in exchange of living a luxurious and happy life where he doesn't have to worry about a thing.
He's a capable fighter when it's required.
(Mård is Swedish for the european pine marten, but his surname is based on the Swedish word for tanuki; Mårdhund)
