This applies to just about any time I want to ask someone for something, that my mere presence, much less my audacity in asking, will annoy and irritate the other person. Thus, even if they might actually be for it if I do ask, all I can see or hear is a big, fat NO.

Unfun Fact: If a woman has ever expressed an interest in stork summonings with me, they've never mentioned it in a way I could pick up on. I refuse to ask not just because of the above anxiety, but because I don't want to disrespect and anger them.

I know what you mean. For all the things we want to do ourselves, there's tons more than require the help of other people. But how to get that help if (so our minds hear before we ask) all they're going to say is "NO!"? :/

Yeah, this... I'm having troubles with this as well. Got me into the mentality of doing everything on my own which has its perks but at the same time isn't viable for many things.
