With the team's firefighter theme, the Redstone Chiefs' branding concept uses black, yellow, and red colors, as well as fonts and symbols, you would typically find on things associated with the fire department. The primary logo, for example, is a yellow Maltese cross with a red and black stroke, and a white circle in the center with a running dalmatian in fireman apparel holding a lacrosse stick. The top and bottom portions of the cross have the words, "REDSTONE" and "CHIEFS" on them respectively.

The secondary logo is a simple yellow letter 'R' for "Redstone" with a red stroke, a black dropshadow, and a firemans' helmet on top.

The Chiefs mascot is Smoke the Dalmatian.

The name of the team's owner, Jake Marshall references things associated with the fire department. "Jake", is a slang term (commonly used in New England) for a good firefighter. The term is said to have its origins dating back to the 1800's with the J-key, a device used as part of the fire department's telegraph system. "Marshall", of course, refers to a Fire Marshall.

This Warrior Conference team plays at the Futureperfect Insurance Arena. The company with the arena's naming rights is yet, another reference to VNV Nation, much like the Bravehearts' home arena, VNV Center.
