Hyper Indoor Lacrosse League - GO-LONG BLADES

This team of red pandas play in the City of Go-Long. Their hometown's name is meant to reference "going long", as in going far, toward success and victory. The team's nickname, the Blades, refers to the blades of ninja weapons, such as swords, kunais, shurikens, etc.

A kunai with a lacrosse stick head pointing right is the team's primary logo. The wordmark on the logo uses two different fonts, with "GO-LONG" in all white, and "BLADES" in red with a white stroke.

The Blades' secondary logo features a silhouette of a ninja in a red circle with a lacrosse stick. Above the ninja inside the circle are the words "GO-LONG LACROSSE", also in two different fonts and different colors, "GO-LONG" in white and "LACROSSE" in black. The red circle has a dark gray stroke around it.

Along with his jersey and shorts, Shadow the Blades' mascot wears a ninja mask and fingerless gloves.

The Go-Long Blades are owned by Hanson-Brewster Enterprises, who are run by J.C. Hanson and Lee Brewster. The names of the two owners are references to Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. In J.C. Hanson's name, the "J" is for "Jackie", and the middle initial and first three letters of the name make "Chan". In Lee Brewster's name, the first syllable in "Brewster" is "Bruce", and "Lee" simply just means "Lee".

Similar to that of the Mohegan Sun Arena and Casino in Connecticut, this Warrior Conference team plays in an arena that's part of a casino complex known as the Moonlight Casino and Convention Center.
