Hyper Indoor Lacrosse League - FAHREN HEIGHTS HOTSHOTS

Halfway through the league's logo and mascot series is our fire-themed Fahren Heights Hotshots, a team of dragons.

The city's name is a reference to "Fahrenheit", a measurement of temperature. The nickname is, obviously, fire-themed, with "Hot", like burning hot, and "Shots", because lacrosse players make shots for the goal.

The primary logo is the team's name, with its hometown portion of the name in a yellow Mistral-style font with a black stroke around it on the upper-right side of the logo, and the team's nickname made up of mostly yellow and orange letters, also with a black stroke. The second 'O' in "HOTSHOTS" is a flaming lacrosse ball being shot out of a lacrosse stick peaking out of the first 'O'.

The secondary logo uses a yellow 'F' and 'H' for "Fahren Heights" sitting in front of a black shield with a red outline. Surrounding it is a yellow fire with a red stroke around it.

The Hotshots' mascot is Prometheus the Dragon. He was named after the Greek god of fire. His jersey number is 451, referencing the Fahrenheit temperature for fire.

While searching for more mythological figures associated with fire online, I decided to name the ownership group the Helios-Hephaestus Group. The head honcho is Ashley Embers, whose name has, yet, more references to fire, Ashley (with "Ash" in its name) and Embers (burning objects in a fire).

Diamond Energy is the company with the arena's naming rights. The company gets its name from the belief that lumps of coal can become diamonds when stored many miles beneath the Earth's surface for billions of years. Even though the myth was debunked, the name, according to the company's founder, thought it still sounded nice.

This is a Star Conference team.
