Headlight's mother Wednesday works at a Hooters to help the family make ends meet. At 27, Wednesday is still sometimes mistaken for a teenager due to her small size and youthful looks. That, combined with her friendly attitude and love of flirting, earns her a considerable amount of tips. Wednesday gets along with most of her coworkers, especially her boss. The two of them are good friends, and he lets her take the kitchen leftovers home at the end of the day.

Wednesday is the highest earner in the family and her husband and daughter are very happy for her.
