This text is from a poem in the middle ages. It's actually an primal version of german and it basicaly means "I saw the hare, wolf and fox dancing" :)

Are you sure it’s German? I’m a bit surprised, it sounds really close to French. I know I’ve heard a recent French version of almost the same exact lyrics, only with a weasel instead of a hare: check La Jument de Michao.

You are right, I just surched it. It's old french but the meaning I wrode is correct :) In Extremo lied to us! xD A few years ago the singer of the band told the crowd it's german. I was in there too :P
