Mordecai Zavier Scorpiorn is the iron-clad king of the planet Threa and the main antagonist of Trii the Star. Scorpiorn is an extremely powerful individual, capable of enourmous feats of strength and energy. In addition to his strength, his hands can transform into claws with which he can use to crush even stone. The claws also hide cannons that can fire lasers in multiple blasts or in one streaming shot. He's also steam-powered, giving him added boosts of agility and evasiveness. With that said, going up against him in battle is almost suicide!
With a cold, metallic body comes a cold, metallic heart. Scorpiorn hardly cares about Threa or any of its citizens and only wishes to expand upon his image and his corporations. If something doesn't go his way, he's quick to go into fits of rage and can sometimes even destroy entire towns or villages by accident! Scorpiorn resides in a gigantic whale-shaped flying fortress called the Omegawhale. He also commands an entire legion of reptilian-like soldiers known as Baogers, with Commodore Bounds as his second-in-command.
Scorpiorn is the one responsible for capturing Trii from his home in space. While Trii was on his way back home, Scorpiorn spotted him and followed him back home where he immediately began to attack and capture Trii and all the other stars he was with at the time. When he was taken to Scorpiorn's ship, Trii later managed to escape from his prison by unknowingly folding part of his face into a lock pick. However, while he tried to escape, he ran into Scorpiorn and lost in a fight against him. Deeming Trii as "unworthy slave material" because of the poor star's falling-head disorder, Scorpiorn ordered his men to have him thrown into the garbage chute, where he would supposedly get blasted off into uncharted space. Little did the king know that Trii would sooner or later end up crashing on his planet!
After Scorpy discovered Trii was alive, he ordered his men to attack him, but thanks to an assist from Trii's new friend, Aardy, the star and aardvark duo managed to outsmart them and eventually made a fool of Scorpy himself. This action caused the king to become absolutely furious with the two for making him look bad, and the with the townspeople for laughing at him. He then snapped later on and decided that he would reshape the world in his image so that no one would ever dare cross him again.
