FWIW, my issue has only rarely been with making appointments (and when it is, it's universally an improperly configured PBX system -- aka phone tree computer -- that forgets I exist as soon as it puts me on hold) -- instead I've got a "healthcare system" with outpatient clinics staffed full of doctors that don't actually treat what's wrong with me, and hospitals so understaffed and overworked that the ERs there do not provide even minimal standards of care, legally. Mind you, this is a famous and sprawling network, and because of where I live, I can't physically get anywhere else!
