(originally requested, supposed to have eve in it but she wrecked the composition and couldn't find a decent pose for her, so NYAH)

This scene, a pivotal one in the story, I've never been able to quite handle, I've never felt the experience that he did - but someone else did...

Mr Max here.. he loves Miss Eve, feels he will inevitably destroy her because he has no faith in himself to be what he believes she deserves. He wants her to go to save herself, but stay because they love each other. Max decides maybe it is best to put her out of the misery that he's going to cause her. Then those old mommy issues come into play... he takes Eve to the garden which she tended so nicely and brought to life. Even when it's winter and cold out, you can still tell she's worked there. It looks and feels better. He debates and debates and is almost sure that he needs to take Eve out so he doesn't wreck the only thing that'll show him as much love as she does. Man vs himself? So he goes off to find her, she's sitting in the snow, talking to herself, or it could be some birds that are hopping about around her. At least he did give her the courtesy of mentioning he was there before she turned around to see a gun in her face.
