Imperfection is him. He's a small man, with a thin body and broken missing yellowed teeth. He's got one functional eye and he is ugly. Blue eyes are not the norm for his race.

But someone loves him regardless.

And you, and me, and our art and our writing, are not perfect.

There are no minute details here. Nor a fancy background. And the proportions are off and the perspective would make my sober friends feel drunk. He's wearing white and smoking a black clove. This image wasn't overly mathamaticalized, there's no rule of 3rds, there's no color theory nor stable light source.It's not even colored properly.

And that's okay.
