The small moments are the ones that we all cherish and remember for a lifetime. The way the light filters through the trees, the way the sun lights up someone's face, the soft sound of laughter echoing through the clearing. You remember the small details and you're not even sure why, but it's those small details that make those moments magic.

Did this scene actually happen to me? No, of course not.
Does it feel as though it has? Absolutely.

I was just doodling random sketches of me and my adorable little Mischa together using references from google to help with anatomy, and I never thought that any of them would actually lead to something more. The more I looked at this sketch, the last one I made on the page, the more a picture started to form. A picture almost like a memory, maybe from a dream, I dunno. But as I colored it, it felt more real to me than it probably ever could have.

Just me and my adorable little Mischa out for a walk in the countryside getting close to sunset. It's probably past the little one's bedtime by now, but being the wonderful baby that she is she doesn't throw a fit. Just smiles and snuggles into me as we head back for the truck to head home with daddy at our side.

It was then that I took one last moment to lift my baby girl into the air to see the softer hues from the sunset light up her face. The warm tones just adding a radiance to her smile that just warms my soul. And daddy was sweet enough to capture the moment with his camera it seems. ^^

This was supposed to be done for Mother's Day this year, but I lost track of time. So it's a bit late, but enjoy anyways. <3
