These are something my girlfriend and I make that we like to call "gearrings" - that is, "gear earrings." They're a fun way to add a little steampunk style to your daily wear. They're made of basemetal, and the drops are glass.

I can make gearrings in any combination of antiqued silver-, gold-, or copper-toned basemetal, with or without drops, and the drops themselves can be pretty much any smallish bead (or beads) you can imagine (round, teardrop, flowers, hearts, stars, cubes, etc. in a variety of colors and materials, including semiprecious stone - ask about what I have or can get!).
