Chore Pets utilized positive reinforcement to help motivate you to complete tasks. The other productivity games out there like Habitica include negative reinforcement which can become stressful and discouraging to players. Life punishes you enough for forgetting a task, why should a game meant to motivate you add on to that punishment?

Here you can find and collect pets and items you encounter when you complete a task or even go for a walk! When you encounter an item or pet you can choose to ignore them or interact with them by either picking up the item or befriending the creature. Wild creatures may not automatically trust you, and some may run from you, but they will remember you and may show up again! To befriend a creature simply pet the, play with them, give them a treat, or even speak to them in a calm voice. After befriending them they will join you! Each pet has a different personality so some may be easier than others to befriend.

Currently this game is in the idea stage and needs your help to be produced. We need volunteer artists, coders, and secretaries in order to get this project off the ground!

This game will be a helpful tool to motivate individuals as well as help them organize and prioritize tasks through a cute and calm game. Chore Pets strives to make task completion enjoyable and less stressful for those who need it.
