Shadoxes be fat. This is a simple fact, and a mostly-inevitable outcome. 83 Ghosts ARE somewhat difficult to stop, after all. But better than trying to combat supernatural powers is working with 'em...as some smart people know. Ghost-doggies are some of the most sociable types of ghosts anyways, so what've you got to lose? ;3 (Well, there's always a chance of risk with ghost, but this is creates a LOWER risk, now doesn't it?)

Salacune is one of the smart-critters that realizes this. Fortunately he has the means to help a Shadox like me be fat - and for that, I am more than happy to haunt him rather harmlessly~ He feeds me so many good meals and makes good use of me in turn; you can't get much plusher than a blubbery dog-belly, and I'm lazy and sedimentary enough that I end up making a pretty fine couch for Sala!

Though he does usually have to order up some food every time he wants to rest on me. That pressure against my belly tends to 'activate' it, and makes it get all grumbly for nummies, you see... A worthy trade, I think; and if for some reason he forgets his part of the trade one day, well...I'll just give him an even-more-soft place to rest against...and within... <3
