Every Shadox possesses a trinity of base forms: The living Body, the focused Mind, and the chaotic Soul. Their soul wells - the glowing symbols on their hips - may vary in color from shadox to shadox, but every Shadox possesses the same symbol from form to form. By the end, the soul well IS the Shadox, in its Soul form - its core.

Shadoxes are ghosts, undead. The Body is alive, the Mind is in limbo, and the Soul is spectral. They can switch between these forms - these states of living - at will. Much like a phoenix, they can go from death to life again, on a mere whim... Mortality has no hold on them.
