I'm lucky to have multiple wonderful Charmanders gracing my life...not only my wonderful mate, Eragon. For instance, Alex here is also a sweetheart, always bringing a ray of sunshine whenever I talk to him, being quite cheery and supportive. I guess it makes sense that a fire-type like him can help brighten my days~

  fantasyleader, aka Alex the Charmander, drew this for me the other night after helping me out with some very bad feelings.

The last week has been rather rough on me simply thanks to the internet being the internet. I'll keep it vague, but; I ended up hated by a number of people, including friends, simply because I had a different opinion on an issue than many others. Civil as I tried to stay, it was a hot-button issue for many people and I was quickly lumped into 'that other group' (when I was expressing a sort of 'hybrid' opinion if anything), and lambasted accordingly by people I trusted to judge me as an individual, not as a label.

Simply put, I was heavily distraught after all this...and didn't have many people to talk to at that time. But Alex caught me and reminded me that true friends don't pull that sort of shit on friends. He was a sweet and encouraging fellow, and advice dispensing some very helpful advice he drew this to show he stuck by me as a friend, and that whatever my opinion on a single topic was, it didn't change his opinion of me, the person he's gotten to know over the last year.

We need more people like Alex in the world, I feel. Thank you, lil' Char-buddy~ <3
