Do you ever imagine what it'd be like if your fursona starred in a popular video game series? I have entertained such thoughts for quite a lot of years. I always wonder how my Charmeleon would mesh inside different games, from Mega Man to Castlevania and, of course, to Sonic the Hedgehog. Charem would fit pretty well with Sonic gameplay, as he moves fairly fast on all fours and he could have a very effective jump/spin attack by virtue of his flaming tail spinning around himself.

I used to draw up boss designs all the time when I was younger, for different games. I always did like boss fights. Strangely enough, my drawing muse randomly came to me today while listening to the soundtrack of Sonic After the Sequel to do just this. This is quite unusual because I personally don't like doing lineart...typically, anyhow. But I felt really eager to today...and so I simply went for it. :3

The backstory of this boss design, the Egg Poacher (lol see what I did there), as well as how it operates, is all well-explained in the picture's text. ^^ All in all this might be just silly, possibly vain fanon, but I'm pretty happy to complete a sole project again; it's been a while and it feels quite good.

What do you guys think of the design? Ever thought up Sonic boss designs yourselves? I'm curious if anybody has. :3
