The Evolution Serum: Part 1 - by futureblocker by Charem

The Evolution Serum: Part 1 - by futureblocker

Charem

Science can be quite fascinating, and fun! And in the Pokeverse especially, there's always so much to discover... Naturally, being a curious lizard, I decided to run a few experiments on a well-known but often not-understood object: the evolution stone. Namely, a fire stone which I had kept for several years. Everybody knew that such stones could only evolve certain fire-type Pokemon...but why was that? I felt an affinity for the stone too, even if I wasn't 'susceptible' to its effects. Perhaps science could change that...?

(Seeing as how this comic provides its own simple-but-cute narration, I won't write a full story. But since the text is a bit hard to read, I'll transcribe it. :3)

1 - One night, a Pokemon was working in a secret lab!
"This is only a theory, but I know it will work!"

2 - Charem is adding pieces of a fire stone to a formula!
BOILING SOUND!

3 - Once the formula was ready, Charem needed to test it!
"Yes! I've created the first fire-type evolution serum! Now to test it?"

4 - Charem tests it on himself!
"DOWN the hatch! Gulp!"

5 - But suddenly Charem begins to glow!
"Wait! I'm evolving!"

6 - Charem is evolving into...
(I feel stronger, more powerful?)

7 - A Charizard!
"BURP! Charem is no more!"

8 - Eek! He's become a monster!
"I'm Charzem!"
TO BE CONTINUED!

This is the first of two parts of a comic that   futureblocker put together. ^^ This comic was his own idea, and I find it quite fun! <3 The writing style makes me chuckle - it makes it feel like it's an old cartoon show narration. ("Will Batman be able to stop the Joker's dastardly plot in time? Stay tuned!")

Charzem is my evolved form, for those that don't know. He's more a 'what if?' form than a true character, as I never intend to evolve... Well, not usually. XD But this is a nice exploration into what I could potentially become!
