With the beginning of every "hood season" (usually around Feb/March as our home warms up), we get commissions for hoods, usually of a commissioner's fursona/persona. This was no exceptions and it was a striped creature, staight out of Feb. Indeed, the silver metallic "godpaint" comes in handy, even on painting fur into each stripe. I used mixed techniques, laying down a layer of the rough boundaries (using a reference from the commissioner). From there, there was a trace over for lines of the full fur effect.
