This is Avery the Leafeon- my third creature costume. She was created as part of a full Eeveelution cosplay group originally debuted at A-kon 20 in Dallas, Texas. The mask features a moving jaw and a complex tail harness. The costume took somewhere between 80 to 100 hours to complete (not counting the planning stages). Also my first time working with faux fur and real leather. I'm very satisfied with this costume and like every other project, this one gave me a challenge and an amazing opportunity to grow in my skills as a costume builder.

The full Eeveelution group won the 1st Place in the Hall Costume Contest Saturday at A-kon and placed 1st in Master's Level Craftsmanship at Nan Desu Kan 2009.
