  Hi, there! To answer specifically, I used the following materials:
  
  9 gauge aluminum wire
  28 gauge steel wire
  aluminum foil
  clay softener
  Super Sculpey
  
  Basically, I use wire and foil to build an armature base, then wrap it in Super Sculpey and start sculpting. I have a lot more photos of the process in which I'm making this, so when I complete the bust I'll post everything I have.

    How expensive is the super sculpey? I want to do pony sculptures, but the sculpey I use doesn't seem to be good for it.

      You can buy a 160z box of Super Sculpey for roughly $10 USD. I usually get mine from Blick Art (dickblick.com)
