Final request done for the wonderful Sakovri of a Koi! I really like the ones that have that calico cat sort of colouration but really all of them are pretty beautiful <3 I wonder if these kind are as lucky as the cats? Personally, I don't think they'd like it up here. Would be like 4 months of swimming and the rest of the time in rain barrels/tupperware in the garage. Plus they can get a little... pricey at times!
I'm glad i got to work out a little background for this one; can only do so many different shades of grey :3

Those little buggys cause me a lot of trouble in the summer, They always try to take over the outdoor pool! Get a whole bunch of them flying out from the lakes looking for little places to chill out. I scoop em out only to find them again the next day... I just want to rescue them from the chems and filter D:

I wish I could keep koi too, but they don't exactly thrive in aquariums in a blockhouse apartment. :>
I already mentioned it elsewhere but dat cuteness, and dat plantlife over the surface<3 And I really like that water and the lighting in it, too.-
When I started this guy I was watching some videos online about koi. I was really surprised to see two guys struggling to hoist up one at a koi farm- they were monsters! I knew they were big and long-lived but i wasn't expecting them to be that huge~ (And really chubby- that's probably why he ended up a little cutesy)
Of course I was also surprised at tuna when I saw some greek dudes jumping in the water to drag man sized ones on-board. I guess i just think of most fish as little guys!

Likewise, especially when I've grown in an inland and Finland's freshwater fish are all rather small. Well, Baltic Sea doesn't have any giants in it either, maybe rarely some visiting/lost ones.
Getting to dive in some tropical waters would be mind-blowing for me, I'm sure.-
I'd reaaaaallly like to get out and go scuba, I just wish you could somehow dive and sketch at the same time, I really like those sorta ugly napoleon wrasse. I guess the easy solution is I need to live somewhere with an aquarium... but I think being right in the water with them would have a way different effect.
