He Keeps His Master's Sheep

CadmiumTea

A gift for Dari, because I don't give him enough gift art. My second ever oil painting, and yeah, I'm hooked, and this may not be a good thing. They're so warm, and so deep, but they take a very long time to dry, and cure, which may not be conducive to commissions for furries.

Oils on paper, 6x4.

I completely hear you about the drying time. I recently picked up oils again, and it ended up taking WEEKS for a very simple picture. But they look so dang good! The blending is so perfect, and the texture of the brush strokes, and the colors... I'm probably going to have to do more, even if they take a small eternity.

I really love your oils, and hope you'll do more! Either do some "generic" ones just to sell whenever you like, or if you take commissions for them, just tell people up front that they take a long time to dry and cure, so you can't do rush work/deadlines on oil works. :)
