Hey guys! This is part of a group of commissions for Synnastyr of a group of amazing characters from his AMAZING stories. If you haven't read his work, you really should! <3 Go my beloved minions, flood him with love!

Anyway, since he's the author and I'm just here to make the purdy pictures, I'll be serving a heaping helping of Copy Pasta for the character descriptions, along with a bit of rambling from me about the image below it. (And this here at the top.) Enjoy!

Jarin is a laid back individual who almost always has a smile on his face and a laugh on his lips. He also has a natural charm and gallantry that has earned him quite a few female admirers. Unattached until he met Jahyrra he never took advantage of their feelings conscious of how doing so could deeply wound someone. On the other side of the coin he is also reckless and daring with a strong sense of honor. He will always jump into the fray if someone needs to be protected. A sore point between him and his father, who is a police officer, is that he is less concerned with obeying the law than doing what he thinks is right. Jarin takes things very seriously despite his easy going nature. He is absolutely loyal to his family and friends and would never do anything to hurt them if he can help it.

Jarin and his best friend, a black maned lion named Draxis, started BlacKnight under the name Jaded Juvenile Delinquents with Harlin Row and Tiata Farance. Tiata was the first to leave, having gotten pregnant by her boyfriend, and was not replaced until Jarin started dating Jahyrra who took over keyboards. Harlin's father moved to another city after getting promoted and was replaced several months later by Luke shortly after his family moved in next door.

Oh Jarin. <3 I love a lot of aspects of his design. The color on all these is new, but the sketches are old... And while I think they are mainly pretty good, I think I've gotten much better at drawing men. Jarin is a bit feminine in this picture, but I think it's fitting.
