Must have. I’m still feeling tired too.

Was this the first time you nodded off?

Lana: “Was I nodding off earlier today as well?”

Kaari: “Hm, no. Not that I noticed anyway.”

maybe have Kaari fix yourself up some tea and take a nap.

Lana: “Sorry, I might need to take a nap or go back to bed for a bit Kaari. Still on the night schedule here.”

Kaari: “What do you mean? You’ve been off of work.”

Lana: “Still got college classes to take care of. Thankfully I’ve been able to handle most of that at home.”

Kaari: “O..oh. I’m sorry for waking you up Lana. I-I would have waited till later-“

Lana: “No, Kaari. You’re fine. I’m glad you called me when you needed help. It means a lot. I would’ve felt bad if you sat and waited for my sake for something like that.”
I slowly get up.
Lana: “Could you put a cup of tea in the microwave for me? I think I’m going to sit down on the couch.”

Kaari: “Sure!”
