Eneteon (named after enetophobia, a fear of pins and needles), evolves from an Eevee that has been exposed to a rare strain of bacteria found in parts of the Cestus region. Upon evolving, Eneteon's quills are actually a translucent white color. Over time, the same bacteria that caused Eevee's mutation into this evolved form build up in the quills, giving them their garish pink and red coloring.

Eneteon's quills are hollow and barbed, like a porcupine. Depending on the state of Eneteon's bacterial colony, the effects of being stuck by its quills ranges wildly in severity. At low levels, Eneteon's quills cause skin irritation. At the highest concentrations, there are chemicals present that can cause wounds to develop necrosis. Despite its ability to cause serious damage, Eneteon would rather flee from attackers and save its infectious quills for only the most dire of circumstances.

The skin that is not covered in quills is covered in soft, peach-fuzz hairs that are actually quite pleasant to the touch.
