Took down the previous WIP because it's looking much better today! (If you want to see how choppy and gross it was: http://imgur.com/0Td5XvY.jpg) I'm probably working ass-backwards compared to most makers because I'm used to building with things like cardboard and papier-mache, but I spent most of yesterday filling in those gaps and smoothing everything over and it's finally looking promising :>
So yeah, I'm making my first fursuit, for real this time. Decided to go with something generic just to get used to carving foam/sewing fur and whatnot. I'm really trying for a small, low-profile head, and relying on different fur lengths and maybe some needlesculpting to bring out the features rather than big chunks of foam. Other than this there probably won't be any padding except for the feet.
