DRAGONS

Dragons are quite hard to find in nature, as they can sense a human from miles away and instantly turn the other way.

Most species are very small, from the size of a weasel to that of a middle-sized dog, but there are three or four types that can grow to the size of a deer.

They are naturally defensive creatures and if they can't go unseen, they would nearly always attack humans. Even the smallest of dragons have incredible strength, and several species has camouflaged skin that can slightly change depending on their surroundings, much like chameleons.

Dragons are most common in forests and mountains, and rarer on the seaside and deserts or any other place that has vast opened plains where they can't hide well.

Naturally they are carnivores, but in hard times they can also eat plants.

Their skin is rough and feels like a mixture of lizard-like skin and leather. Not all species have wings, but most of them have dinosaur-like features, especially on their face.

Their basic skin colour ranges from brown to red and yellow, mostly they are warm-coloured, but a few mountain species adapted a grey coloured skin.

However, as mentioned before, their skin colour can adapt to their environment.

Their eyes can be any colour, but they are usually of a very bright, nearly neon shade. The 'white of the eye' is always black or dark brown/grey
