Welcome to my old art dump Nr 3.

These pieces were done from 2002-2003, I tried to put them in an order that you can see the progress (well, yes).
The first B&W picture was made for one of my friend, I can't remember the reason. The second girl in the black cloth was made for the same girl, it supposed to be her character in a comic what several of us draw. (I don't really have anything left from those comics, which is such a pity, it was really fun to do). Basically Animes started leaking trough the internet, and we could download an episode by one day or so. My friends liked Inuyasha so much, that they created a fanworld, made their characters, and invited me to join, since I loved doing monsters and character designs etc, it sounded like total fun so of course I joined. You can see my character with white hair, blue shirt and red markings. I guess she was my "official" first OC, Yagame the dragon-demon-thing.

I also tried to do manga based art back then, but since I'm horribly bad in copying, and had like zero sense to create manga stuff, you can see the result in the mermaid. (I gave up very quickly, it's really not my thing)

My art idol was Tetsuya Nomura, I guess you can recognize the bull necks at some pieces, what he was doing in his early Final Fantasy volumes.

There's an other druid with a lot of hair. I loved drawing hair even back then, can you tell?

Some more character designs, and an other try to do some mangoid. It's a total failure!

But hopefully you can see that from broken ankles and hands I started to turn to the right way, and doing complex poses and images, like the angel dude at the end/bottom.

I remember the angel mummy girl was very popular for some reason. Many people tried to pull it off, but I think I still have it, bind into a big black book.

Oh yeah, and I really liked ball point pens.

Back in those days there were no tablets. Or photoshop available. Only Paint and Open Canvas, thanks to my friends. Unbelievable, haha!
