((Crossposting old piece from 2011))

I've spent three days on this huuuge piece of work. Originally started at over 3000x3000 pixels, and I had to shrink it down quite a bit so as not to make you guys have to scroll all over the place to see anything. I shrank it as much as I could without loosing any detail, any smaller and all my hard work was blurred away.

Photoshop...crashed two times before I got this finished. It was lost one time, and found after an hour of screaming profanity at my computer while searching my files for it. Turns out, PS had saved it as a temp file, and I didn't even know temp files existed for PS...yay for PS forums for saving my computer from me smashing it into many pieces...

I'm quite excited for the new Zelda to come out in November "Skyward Sword" and after seeing thse huge shoe-bill like birds...I was all "I WANT ONE!" and thus...drew one for myself. Aparently these birds come in many colors, but the two most seen ones are red, and blue. I love blue, and originally sided with that color...but I wanted some different colorations in this piece. Blue sky, blue character...blue bird? Naw, too much blue, lets do red!

I hope to doodle this guy more and more wiht Majin...he may be a permanent new friend. His name is Maro. :3
