Archeus Plushie Backpack by Bluewolfcheetah

Archeus Plushie Backpack

Bluewolfcheetah

Well, here's something different!

I've never made a backpack before, let alone a plushie backpack. This pretty girl took me quite a while as I had to hand sew every last stripe. She's 100 percent hand sewn, her eyes are hand embroidered. (I don't trust my embroidery machine, needle shrapnel is scary)
Straps are sewn in place with doubled upholstery thread for extra security. They're adjustable and have buckles so they can be easily unbuckled since I believe she has intentions of wearing this cutie while in suit. So I thought that it'd be easier for her to take the backpack off while in suit if she needs it off quickly.

Made with minky for the body, and faux fur for her cute hair-do. I had a lot of fun making her, it was a very nice change up. I loved the challenge to break the monotony of the same thing over and over. Having to figure out how to put a zipper and a pocket inside the body was very difficult, and I had to redo it a couple times to get it right. But very happy with how she turned out in the end!

I hope you like her, Archeus! <3

This was a commission and is NOT for sale!

This looks awesome! Did you use a pattern for this or did you just wing it?

Everything I make is done with my own hand drafted patterns. Usually takes several "dummy plushies" to get the shape right :3

Yeah, I'm looking into getting into plushies in the near future. I've made some VERY remedial pieces, but I've used pre-made free patterns found online. Not looking forward to the trial and error part of making my own haha
