Love knew precious few boundaries. Love knew even less about the paths of wisdom. Love knew less still about the things that kept two creatures separated, and how long they had to wait until they were reunited. And Belle knew all too well that once she'd met her Mikhail for the very first time, she never wanted to be parted from him for as long as she remained on the Earth, whether through death or space exploration. But the one thing she'd never told him before was a fear that she'd had for him - that she would one day have him torn away from her involuntarily, just as happened to her father and her uncle. She didn't know how she would tell him this, despite having detailed her past. He knew that she was a remorseless killer during her years working for the Yakuza, and he'd developed a further admiration for her; not because of her murders (despite getting revenge for the deaths of her uncle and cousin), but because of her courage in admitting it, and that she'd shown herself to be very independent in her thoughts and decisions.

Throughout the year, they'd started to get to know each other better, and Belle was sure that her love for Mikhail was becoming stronger with every time they met, every day that passed, every time they cuddled. Her heart pounding as she made her way to his now empty home, he took her out to the seafood restaurant they'd visited before, a great meal shared before they came back again. Belle's nerves began to take hold again, and she sensed that Mikhail was nervous too, although this never got in her way as she turned to him on their entrance, with a smile that meant only one thing.

"I had a great night, Mickey." smiled Belle. "We should do this more often."

"We're already meeting every day, sweetie." said Mikhail in a mocking surly tone, at which point they both chuckled at the thought. Just before they headed into the living room, they found themselves enthralled once more, for when they turned to each other, two pairs of eyes the colour of moonstone met, and the rainbows and flowers of the beautiful elements they shared in their bond arose, flagrant in their eyes and with a desire that burned rather than flickered. They each knew what was coming next.

"Mickey," breathed Belle, "there's so much I want to say...but I don't know what I want to say first."

"That's okay." smiled Mikhail. "It'll come in time. But I think I know what might help." They cuddled each other as he led her into the living room, gesturing to a deep blue loveseat in front of the fireplace. "There's a spot with your name on it, my love."

"It says right there," she sighed, "'Sharp...come to me. I'm waiting.' It won't have to wait any longer...and nor will you." And with that, they sat down softly before they turned to each other, amour and valour rushing through them. Before they knew it, their lips and snouts met in a passion filled kiss, and their senses were catapulted into paradise as they explored each other, each pair of lips navigating the other's contours like it was a journey into the unknown. When they finally parted, a rush of delight washed over them, rising when they met eyes once more.

"Mickey...that was amazing!" beamed Belle.

"I can say the same thing, Sharpie!" smirked Mikhail. "My God...no kiss has ever felt so good."

"Hey, I try." chuckled Belle.

This awesome piece of artwork comes from the highly talented Quirachen, in what I feel is one of the best depictions of Sharp I've ever bought so far. Nothing escapes a look of such amour, and I have to confess...I'm finding it difficult to resist those eyes. ^^; The brushstrokes are so hard to pull off, and they're the other selling point besides her facial features. Wonderful stuff, Quirachen - you rock! =D
