Little had obscured Seque's routes in any of the missions he had faced, not even those he had been assigned before having been assigned as one of ETNHS' headhunters after having dealt with an infamous and unpredictable catboy. He had never tolerated or offered dissuasion or compromise, for he knew how to hold the upper hand without others suspecting his motives, thus none he'd been sent to pursue had successfully escaped his clutches. Danger had come his way many times, on several occasions nearly resulting in his demise, but he had in his experiences learned new moves and acquired several unique powers that had allowed him to mitigate this fate.

But, two hundred years into the future presented a far different world from the one he had departed, with a far higher threat and a completely new system of dangers and rewards, though his organization had remained the same. It, however, had a new head, with Ben K Devoreaux having been taken by the ravages of time long before. It was a future he at first had trouble comprehending, but it didn't take long for him to adapt to it - though along the way, he had bumped into none other than Mary-Rose on one of his travels. He'd perceived her as a level-headed person, though he had suspected immediately that other things were on her mind besides pulling him into her aura. Little did he know, as he lowered himself into the armchair, just what he would bear witness to as the hippo entered the room. Looking up at her with a welcoming and friendly smile, he allowed her an easy entrance, having wished to discuss business at hand, without at any time being aware of just what she was thinking.

This little image was picked up as a late birthday present for my good friend EclairTalon in 2011, whose fursona is depicted here in all his glory. vashy_wings has worked her magic into this with her ever pleasing style; I like to think that he's deep in thought here, but it leaves so much to the imagination. ^^
