Fixl 109: Diatogram

Ability: Sand Coat (increases defense and lowers speed the farther it travels; resets on being healed)

Simpler sketch this time, mostly because I didn’t have a lot of time to do this one, but Diatogram is pretty simple anyway. They’re just a few inches across, with twelve flexible spokes that they can bend back and forth to form different geometric shapes. Diatograms seek out sand, dust, broken glass, and other small bits of detritus and glom them onto themselves for protection. Being Bronze-class, they’re never all that powerful, but they’re a common sight on beaches or riverbanks, where they instinctively seek out small pieces of trash, spear them on a spoke or two, and wheel them over to the nearest garbage can.
