Another galaxy Lion, this time done over four nights with coloured pencils instead of watercolour. I’m really happy with the results, though I prefer watercolour for galaxy/space. Pencils on tan or grey tone paper makes for a bolder artwork, but the time it takes to layer and blend the pencils can make it hard.

Since doing this, I have done more and more galaxy art with coloured pencils, and the results do seem to get better each time. While this boy isn't my best, he is my favourite.
