Smooth leather lines the interior while an extra, sewn live-edge layer helps protect the gilded scrollwork adorning the edges of it's worn front cover. Sized up for a special oversized someone, this detailed cover fits a B5-sized sketchbook or notebook insert. Originally a practice piece towards trying scrollwork for this piece, I decided to make it a first for other new techniques as well: leather-lined interior, B5 sized measurements, layered live-edge exterior, more internal sleeve space for loose-leaf notes. Really wanted to go farther than I normally do on this and gift it to my husband as a possible showpiece item of what could be potentially possible.
