Like most people Alex sometimes feels that she was born in the wrong time and place, however unlike those who dream of heroic dogfights over London during WW2 or pushing back the American Frontier Alex has a thing for the Cold War, though even she couldn't explain exactly why.

So just a day-dream or perhaps an alt-world version of Alex back in the day when the bright and shining forces of freedom and democracy held the line against the godless commie hordes and the military served up a side order of 'nukes with everything'?
